Evening ...

One of the PostgreSQL developers just sent me an email asking if
I'd seen a posting go through one of our lists ... after a little bit of
checking around, it appears that he's no longer on a list that he's been
on for the past, oh, 3 years or so ... he's subscribed to every other
list, but not this one ...

Now, since any UNSUBSCRIBE message would have had to go through me
unless he issued it himself, and I'm 99.9% certain that one didnt' slip
through the cracks, I'm wondering if we possibly have a bug here similar
to the _config bug that Michael fixed a whiel back?

The problem, of course, with that, is that _subscribers.D is a
data file, not a simple text file, so I'd expect that *if* we had a
problem with truncation of that file, it would be corrupt, period ...

... so, how does one investigate this? Is there a log of
sub/unsub requests somewhere that I can search, to see if *maybe* I did
screw up somewhere and accept an unsubscribe?

Michael, I haven't changed the passwd, so if you want to log on
and look around, please feel free ...
