Hmmm.  Can you inject mail directly via telnet localhost 25?  This is no
different than how Mj2 does it.  Can you send mail to list-owner and have
it come through?  If not then crank up debugging to 1000, try it, and send
me the relevant bits of the log.  (Mail to list-owner goes through the
simplest code path we have for mailing things.)
