IMHO, nothing should stand in the way of progress. I say do it ASAP. If
you want a set date and time to give people head notice -- I say 3 days
from when you're ready to commit the code.
Anybody who actively uses Mj2 probably follows the dev lists (but an
announcement on this should be made to mj-workers anyhow, just to be
sure) and as such, will receive this notice and should upgrade
appropriately.
