Why? Because they won't let you be root? Try installing a copy of Mj2
where you tell it you want it to setuid to your regular login userid
when it runs as a server. Make sure that userid has full access to the
directories you're using, and make sure that world has read/execute
on every directory above them. Just do this as a test, not a real
running system, unless you're really brave. It seemed to work for me,
and I'm still trying to figure out why I don't have to be root to
install (when everyone says I do have to be). Seems to be running...
