Ahhh...this is another story.

I think it is desirable to allow people to edit the actual messages. There
are some people who wants to change history!

Yes.

I might also want to link my ftp site to the archives, and it might become
a common-storage area for the whole list.

Mj2 doesn't need to do anything to whatever else is uploaded...but is it
able to ignore the other stuff?
