Hi,
I've always been a little baffled by the way Mj2 is installed.
While it's fairly easy, at last count (and my last count is fairly old),
you had to setup domains during the installation process, as well as
various other settings.
I don't know...isn't there any other way to do this?
Couldn't we make the "make", "make test", "make install" process not
include actual configuration? IMHO, this should be a separate utility,
that can be run over and over again after installation, but wouldn't
actually result in another "make install" (which might scare quite a few
people once they have a living, breathing production system).
This utility could be a simple menu system (something similar to the Linux
kernel "make menuconfig" comes to mind) that has an "Options", "Add
Domain", "Delete Domain", "Change Domain", "Change Admin
Password" options.
I guess it could be the "backdoor" to the whole system....but it'd sure
put less pressure on the original installation process!
Thoughts?
Thanks!
